Welcome to Our 7th & 8th Grade Classroom
Our seventh and eighth grade classroom offers a rich learning experience in a multi-grade setting. Students follow a more middle-school-style approach, with multiple teachers leading a wide variety of classes, an arrangement we call departmentalized teaching. This gives students the chance to learn from different teachers and teaching styles as they prepare for high school and beyond.
Beyond the core subjects, students enjoy a broad range of extracurricular activities, including sports, drama, yearbook, school store, choir, band, piano lessons, and more. Together, these experiences give our sixth through eighth grade students a well-rounded, Christ-centered education.
Mrs. Megan Sitzman
7TH & 8TH GRADE TEACHER
Mrs. Sitzman grew up in Sussex, WI, and graduated from UW-Whitewater. Over the past decade or so, she has had the joy of teaching in a variety of classrooms, including one year in first grade and ten years teaching middle school English in the public schools of Antigo and Hartford. She joined Crown of Life Lutheran as a preschool aide in January 2023, and she feels blessed to teach in the same school her children attend and where her family worships. During the school year, she also serves as one of our forensics coaches.
Originally from Sussex, she treasures her faith and the chance to serve her church family each day. In her free time, she loves to read and sing, and she looks forward to heading up north with her family each summer. She looks forward to partnering with families to help their children grow this year as she now serves as the 7th and 8th grade teacher.
