Rooted in Christ, Growing in Grace Together
Crown of Life Lutheran Church is a confessional Lutheran congregation in Hubertus, Wisconsin, affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). We gather each week around God's Word and Sacraments, grow in faith through study and friendship, and go out to share the gospel with our neighbors — at work, at home, and across our community.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and are committed to teaching it accurately and faithfully. We believe that the primary teachings of the Bible are law and gospel. The law shows our spiritually lost condition because of our sins against God’s perfect standards, and the gospel shows us how God has fully and freely forgiven our sins through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for us. We share the gospel so that everyone we encounter may believe in Jesus Christ and receive his gifts of forgiveness and eternal life.

The Word of God
The Bible is God's own inspired, trustworthy Word — the final authority for everything we believe and how we live. We take it seriously because it points us to Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16
In Christ Alone
Jesus is true God and true man, who lived the perfect life we couldn't, died in our place, and rose again. He alone is our Savior and the crown of life He promises.
John 14:6
Saved by Grace Alone
We can't earn God's favor. Salvation is a free gift, given entirely because of His grace — not because of anything we've done or could do.
2 Timothy 3:16
Through Faith Alone
God brings us into that gift through faith in Jesus — trust that the Holy Spirit creates in us through the gospel. Faith receives what Christ has already won.
Romans 3:28
In Word & Sacrament
God delivers His forgiveness to us in real, tangible ways through the gospel, through Baptism, and through the Lord's Supper. These are the means He uses to strengthen faith.

We worship one God in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who creates, redeems, and sustains us. We hold to the historic Lutheran Confessions as a faithful summary of Scripture.

Our worship is built around the gospel — hymns, Scripture, prayer, and the Sacraments that set Jesus front and center as Savior. It's reverent, warm, and rooted in the rich tradition of the Lutheran church. Can't join in person? Every sermon is posted online.
